Properties

Biolact Forte is a fifth-generation multicomponent probiotic (probiotics protected by four layers of coating) that contains lactobacilli, bifidobacteria, and enterococci. It supports the physiological balance of intestinal microflora and ensures the comfortable functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

Lactobacilli produce lactic acid and inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, gradually displacing them as a natural competitor. Enterococci and bifidobacteria participate in the enzymatic breakdown of fats, proteins, and complex carbohydrates, as well as in the synthesis and absorption of vitamins. The presence of various beneficial strains in Biolact Forte allows it to have a positive effect on the condition and digestive functions of the entire intestine (especially in cases of fermentative dyspepsia and flatulence) and provides detoxification properties.

Biolact Forte supports the functioning of normal intestinal microflora by:
● Creating unfavorable conditions for the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms;
● Participating in the synthesis of vitamins and the metabolism of bile acids;
● Improving the enzymatic breakdown of proteins, fats, and complex carbohydrates.

Thus, the action of Biolact Forte is due to both direct action against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms and indirect action by stimulating the local intestinal immune response.

Biolact Forte contains bacteria with four layers of coating (Quadruple Coating), ensuring a high survival rate and preservation of the activity of live bacteria in the external environment (during the production process and storage) and protecting the bacteria from the action of gastric juice and bile. Thanks to the coating system, the number of live bacteria reaching the intestines increases, promoting their adhesion and reproduction on the intestinal epithelial cells. The coating protection remains intact until the bacteria are exposed to the pH environment in the small intestine, where probiotics are effective. After the coating dissolves in the intestine, the bacteria rehydrate and begin to actively multiply, supported by the presence of prebiotics—lactulose and fructooligosaccharides—in Biolact Forte, which serve as a nutrient substrate for beneficial bacteria. The unique coating and protection system maximize the survival rate of bacteria and significantly increase their effectiveness compared to uncoated bacteria.

The bacteria in Biolact Forte colonize various sections of the digestive tract, restoring the balance of intestinal microflora in both the small and large intestines. This, in turn, enhances the body’s nonspecific resistance, maintains the balance of the immune, nervous, and other systems, and improves the absorption of nutrients and vitamins.

Biolact Forte does not require special low-temperature storage conditions. The lyophilization of bacteria and the double coating ensure the long-term preservation of the high biological activity of microorganisms at room temperature.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Biolact Forte can be taken regardless of food intake, in dry form with water, or the contents of the sachet can be mixed with water, milk, or food at room temperature.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

It is recommended to take Biolact Forte to support normal digestive function for adults and children over 3 years old, one sachet once a day for 7-14 days. One to four courses per year are advised.
In case of gastrointestinal disorders, adults and children over 3 years old are recommended to take one sachet 2-3 times a day for 7-14 days. If necessary, the intake period can be extended to 1 month.
During antibiotic use, the Biolact Forte course lasts the duration of the antibiotic treatment plus 4 weeks after completing the antibiotic course. During the antibiotic intake phase, the dose of Biolact Forte can be increased to 2 sachets 2-3 times a day. The interval between taking the antibiotic and Biolact Forte should be at least 3 hours.
Probiotics are physiological products for humans. Overdose is practically impossible. Unlike pharmacopeial drugs, probiotics are prescribed for children (except for those under three years old) in almost the same doses as for adults. Use during pregnancy and lactation is possible. No adverse interactions between Biolact Forte and medications have been observed.

Warning

Do not use Biolact Forte in case of allergy to any of its components. Do not drink Biolact Forte with hot beverages or take it simultaneously with alcohol. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging. It should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
